Founded by Amanda Miller in 2016 with the vision to provide a luxury salon experience with an unmatched culture. From the moment you walk in you will feel the culture, the vibes, and the undeniable attention to detail.
The Standard serves as the real-world lab for Amanda's methods and a proof-of-concept for the modern, team-based salon model. Amanda likens it to a teaching hospital: a place where aspiring stylists can receive in-salon certification and advanced technique training, elevate their results and grow their skills, confidence and loyal clientele.

Amanda Miller is the founder of The Standard Salon, The Standard Hair Extensions, and the creator of The Miller Method. With 20 years behind the chair she brings a unique perspective and unmatched talent to the space.
She has a love for teaching and growing the next generation of successful stylists. With her years of experience, constant pursuit of growth and bettering herself she is always putting the client first.
