Refund policy

If you are not completely satisfied or ordered the wrong color, we offer an exchange for another item of equal value or store credit. Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of the original purchase and must meet the criteria below. We do not offer refunds. Items marked “Discontinued” or “Final Sale” are sold as‑is and are not eligible for exchange or return.

Important notice: Hair must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging with the ties and seals intact. Products that have been opened, used, altered, or are not in original packaging cannot be restocked and are not eligible for exchange. Ineligible items will be returned at your expense. The Standard is not responsible for lost packages shipped to or from our company.

How to exchange for in‑store credit

  2. Use the subject line: “Credit + #YourOrderNumber” (example: “Credit + #123456”).
  3. Watch for our reply with any additional information requested.

Preparing your exchange for shipping

  • Include a copy of your order.
  • Use a standard padded mailer to protect the hair and its packaging (like the one it was sent in). Opened or damaged hair cannot be restocked and will be returned at your expense.

What to expect after we receive your exchange

  • You will receive an email from The Standard Customer Service confirming receipt.
  • If the product is eligible for exchange, we will issue an in‑store credit in the form of an e‑gift card for the amount paid, minus taxes and original shipping charges.
  • You will receive an email with your e‑gift card code, which can be applied toward any future purchase.
